Welp, another one for the books. Portland Fan Expo 2024 was the first time we've vended since we moved to Portland in 2021. And, considering all the luck I've had in the past š, of course fate graced us with record low temperatures and a nice snow storm. Most of the other vendors we spoke to failed to break even on the cost of their table. The economy is rough, so most people are already strictly budgeting and a good portion of people stayed home instead of going out because it was unsafe. We had to put spikes on our shoes and chains on our tires to make it to the convention center safely. Here are some shots from our show. I am very grateful for the connections I made and people I met while there. The art community will always be my favorite part of vending.
